“I am grateful that LEGACY accepted me for continuing physical therapy for the surgical repair of my torn quadriceps muscle. I was initially treated in Virginia. I then was in Sarasota for a two week stay and was quickly accepted by LEGACY’s Sarasota facility for continuing physical therapy thus no break in treatment. I was assessed by Jennifer Kotlarczyk (formerly Benson) who then started me on a course of treatment, a total of eight sessions in a little over two weeks. The treatment was professional, respectful, timely & thorough. I found the staff to be caring, supportive, and friendly. I couldn’t help but notice how well the staff interacted with each other as well as with their clients. In addition, the reception area and the friendly greeting of Georgiann Giordoano made me feel welcomed. Overall, a very positive experience. “Following back surgery, I chose the LEGACY’s Ellenton facility for my outpatient physical therapy. When I called the office to setup my initial evaluation, Sue, your first call contact, had superb telephone etiquette. On my first visit Sue greeted me with a pleasant smile. I was thoroughly evaluated and was given excellent suggestions in adding home exercises to my home regimen. While my evaluation was taking place, Sue set up my appointments for the duration of my script. I was very appreciative of her rapid, efficient response. I completed eight weeks of physical therapy. My motivation continued with the suggestion of a Wellness Program. Because of the unique atmosphere of the Ellenton facility, one looks forward to exercise. “I was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder in August 2004. Aside from the great deal of pain, my left arm was totally useless. The shoulder joint was diagnosed by my orthopedic doctor as being beyond repair and in need of replacement with a healing time of 3 months. I decided to try physical therapy and following my friend’s recommendation, contacted LEGACY. After several weeks of treatment, I regained most of the mobility in my arm and reduced the pain to moments of careless, abrupt movements. I can fasten my safety belts and drive using both hands; I can dress putting my arms in both sleeves; comb my hair, etc. All this as a result of my physical therapy treatments!"

I had rotator cuff surgery on December 9th Jane Fulton took my shoulder out of its sling on December 15th and started physical therapy. Therapy was started in six days because my doctor trusted Jane, who has a Masters degree, to do the right therapy. In fact, he said to me twice “Jane knows what to do”. Those letters after the name mean something. I now have full use of my shoulder and am back to playing golf and enjoying life as a slightly obese 70 year old male. I have recommended LEGACY to my friends and they experienced the same fantastic results I experienced. If I ever need therapy in the future, I will certainly call LEGACY. Georgiann, ‘girl Friday” of the Sarasota office, handled my appointments, billing and the other details necessary to make recovery a pleasurable experience.
